Our camp at High Africa

So we were on the bus to High Africa. Simone and I were next to each other on the bus and we’re talking and singing. Finally we were there and guess what! I was wearing all black dungarees! Oh wow! It was SO hot! I felt like I was dying! Anyway, we got our bags and divided into groups for our cabins, I was in a cabin with Ester, Jacks, Tyla, Simone and Amy. Then we went to the field and did the penguin song and dance. Then we did a Rock, Paper, Scissors battle. Finally we did a challenge who was the fastest, I want with Simone and we almost won! We came 4th... I think. We got some free time then did a bunch of activity’s. My favorite was the block challenge where you have to get everyone to the other side with 5 blocks and 9 members without falling, my team won! We went on a night walk, there were lots of scorpions! BAM next day we did rock climbing and then the leap of faith where your tied to a harness and you have to try and catch a metal bar if you miss it you swing it’s still fun. Simone caught the bar and so did jacks, I have no clue if Amy, Tyla or Ester caught it too. We swam in the river after that and soon it got dark. The camp did a poykie competition and my team won... again. I was a decorator and so was my friend Amy, no not the Amy in my cabin, my other friend Amy, let’s call this Amy, Amy J. And ya Simone’s poykie was the best!!! Jacks was better than ours but not better than Simone’s! Finally we were going home and Simone and I were so exited! We had a little fight on the bus tho, nothing serious, we got over it and went home. That my High Africa story, thank you for reading!
